A member of Bickers Consulting Group since 2007, Kathy began her career in 1990 at an accounting firm in Florida. After working in public accounting for eight years, she became CFO for Suncoast Beverage Sales, an Anheuser-Busch wholesaler in Ft. Myers. There she oversaw the administration area, including finance, human resources and inventory control. She also was responsible for budgeting and audit processes, tax planning and compliance, financial reporting, and banking and loan relationships. At BCG, Kathy handles the firm’s administration and consults with and assists clients in a variety of areas, including mergers and acquisitions, banking, finance, staffing, and operations.

Because of her training as a Certified Public Accountant and work as a CFO, Kathy has a comprehensive understanding of the tax, financial and operational issues involved in running a business. Plus, because of her extensive experience in the beverage industry, she is very familiar with supplier agreements and the process for ensuring that estate plans, ownership transfers, bank agreements and other actions comply with them. She therefore is able to help clients with an exceptionally broad range of service needs, from goal-setting and organizational structuring to cash management, internal controls, due diligence, and business mergers and acquisitions.

To give clients the best service possible, Kathy tries first to understand how they work and what they need. Then she applies her skills and knowledge to get done what’s necessary to meet their needs and achieve their objectives. She also acts as a watchdog, making other suggestions about what clients could or should do to advance their success. Above all, she works with clients in a friendly and relaxed but professional manner, so she can earn their trust and come up with solutions that fit their personalities, their families’ desires and their way of doing business.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters Degree in Taxation from Nova University.
